Why is adrenaline so alluring in sports?

Hi everyone! I've always wondered why people are so drawn to extreme sports. For example, why jump with a parachute or race at high speed? It's really dangerous. What's the point? Maybe it's because we want to feel like we're living life to the fullest? When your heart beats fast, when adrenaline is splashing. Can someone explain why people seek this?

In fact, everything is much simpler than it seems. People have always sought thrills because it helps them feel alive. I recently read an article https://www.thexboxhub.com/adrenaline-rush-in-modern-sports/ , which said that adrenaline is such a primal instinct. In the past, when our ancestors faced danger, it was important for survival. But now we don't face real threats, and to feel this "rush" we look for it in sports. You're right when you say that adrenaline makes you feel like life is not just passing you by. People still, for example, participate in races or jump with a parachute, because it's like a return to these ancient instincts.

It is true, adrenaline is like a return to these primordial feelings, when every situation could be your last, and you had to act. In sports it gives something similar.
